Kumofuton Privacy Policy

Summary

Kumofuton does not collect, send, share, or sell your personal information. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your choices on your device only: the sounds you play and their volumes, the timer and fade settings, your alarms (time, sound, and repeat), the theme and language, whether to play alongside other apps, and whether you have Kumofuton Plus.

To decide when to ask for a rating, it also counts the nights you have used it.

This information is never sent to us or anyone else. It is deleted when you delete the app.

Wake-up alarm

Alarms are scheduled with your device's own alarm or notification system. The app asks for permission the first time you set one. Nothing about your alarms is sent to us.

Internet and external services

The app plays sounds without an internet connection.

When you choose to open a map, a sound's source page on Freesound, the recording request form, or the contact form, it opens in your browser or map app. Those services handle your visit under their own privacy policies.

Purchases

Kumofuton Plus is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Payment details are handled by those stores; we never receive them.

The app keeps on your device whether you have Plus, and checks your purchase with the store.

Ratings

After a few nights of use, the app may show the App Store or Google Play rating prompt. Your rating is handled by the store; we only see ratings and reviews that the store publishes.

Recording request and contact forms

These forms are provided with Google Forms. We receive only what you enter. You don't need to enter any personal information. If you include an email address to get a reply, we use it only to reply to you.

Children

Kumofuton does not collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
